Virgin Media 1GB setup costs

The cost of standard installation for all Virgin Media services is currently £35. However, if there has been Virgin Media services installed previously at your property – you may be offered a ‘self-install’ option which is free. The self install and set-up only takes a few minutes and there are step-by-step instruction on how to activate your services.

How do I know if I need a new line installing?

The Virgin Media system will let you know once you have ran the availability checker » for your address. It may be the case that you have been a Virgin Media customer before, or a previous occupant at your address had a line installed.

Do I need a landline?

You only need a landline if you choose a phone service as part of your Virgin Media order.

Do I need to contact my current provider to switch?

Once you have placed your order with Virgin Media, contact your current supplier to inform them of your installation date. Be sure that you are out-of-contract before joining – as there may be an early termination fee to pay if you terminate your contract early.

Can I add inclusive landline calls?

You can add a tailor-made call plan to your bundle if you have chose the Broadband and Phone option:
