For more than 30 years Sky have been at the forefront in entertainment on-the-box. Although this much wrestled crown has been dented somewhat with the arrival of online streaming services – Sky arguably remain the main choice when it comes to the all round premium TV service in the UK. Part of this success can be attributed to Sky Multiscreen and the way Sky have adapted their services, not least by offering access to the likes of Netflix, Amazon and BT Sports as apps direct on the Sky Q box.

Sky Multiscreen is available as an add-on pack to Sky TV Entertainment, which also includes Sky Box Sets, premium channels, catch-up TV, on-demand and access to Freeview. Join Sky with all these services from just £38 a month. You can personalise your package by adding various extra Sky TV packs while in your basket.

You can also add Sky’s current fibre broadband deal for just £34.50 a month extra to your package. Discounts are applied only after you have selected the services you require. Ignore the listed prices in the Sky basket, as some of them are not reflective of all current offers when selected or combined. A little confusing yes! But it’s worth choosing the packs and keeping an your ‘package summary’ for the true monthly cost after discounts are applied.

What do I get with Sky Multiscreen?

Sky Multiscreen comes with Sky Entertainment (aka Signature) and over 500 Box Sets. Also included are over 100 premium channels not available on freeview, including Sky One, Sky Atlantic, Sky Living, FOX, Discovery Channel, History, National Geographic and MTV. Plus the latest additions in the form of Sky History, Documentaries and Nature.

What about other packs like Sky Kids?

You can a host of extra TV packs to Sky Multiscreen on a rolling 31-day contract. This short-term contract is the same for Sky Kids, Disney, the HD & Ultra HD pack and BT Sport. However, all these extra bolt-on packs run alongside Sky TV and Multiscreen services which are both subject to a 18 month contract.

How about HD channels on Multiscreen?

This all depends on your chosen TV packs. There’s 22 free-to-air HD channels included with Sky’s basic Entertainment pack (also known as Sky Signature). If you want to transform a further 40+ channels from standard definition to HD, then you need to add the HD pack for £9 extra a month. Ultra HD pack does just that – for an extra £13 a month. Sky Sports or Sky Cinema now come in HD as standard, so there’s no need to upgrade to the HD pack if that is all that you require.

Can you get Sky Sports and Cinema with Multiscreen?

Does Multiscreen come with Sky Q?

Sky Q is now the standard platform for all Sky services. With Sky Multiscreen you receive the latest Sky Q box, Sky Q mini box and if you order a Sky Broadband service – a Sky Q WIFI hub.

  • Sky Q box + 1st additional box £0.00 (normally £49.00) with Sky Multiscreen = £0.00 total set-up
  • Total Sky TV with Multiscreen subscription = From £38 a month (normally £49pm)

Up to 4 additional boxes can connected (first extra Q box included). These extra Sky Q boxes can only be ordered after your initial Multiscreen order.
